Paul Adams, a 65 year old retired Banker grew up in San Diego, California and now lives in the mid south. In the late 50's, when Adams was in high school, the Golden State was a hotbed for hot roding and racing activities, and new Corvettes ranked at the top of the high-performance car food chain. Compared to other youths of that day, he was lucky enough to have his own car, a then one-year-old, six-cylinder Chevy Biscayne two-door, which he took to the Friday night drags held at an abandoned airstrip north of San Diego. This was a "run-what-you-brung" race and all heads-up (no e.t. brackets). This experience helped make Paul the Corvette lover he is today because this one guy was running circles around everyone with his 1959 F.I. Corvette. To this day Paul remembers that car and how he dreamed of owning one someday. Well that day came in 1996 and he purchased and restored to a Duntov Mark of Excellence a 1959 Big Brake FI Corvette. This Corvette was honored to display at the National Corvette Museum and also holds a Triple Crown Gold Spinner Award. It has since been sold to a collector in California.
Although not owning a Corvette until in his 50's, Paul has had a passion for them from an early age and he has always wanted to get more involved in the Corvette aftermarket industry. He was driving home from a Corvette show one day and started a list of all the ideas he had for aftermarket Corvette products. He has since helped invent and patent several very unique C5 aftermarket parts through a company he started called Vettequest LLC and you can find them on this web-site today.
This new web-site, Corvetteam.com is the culmination of another dream that Paul has had and that is to offer some of the highest quality Corvette Aftermarket products available in the market and share some of his experiences.
